Sneak peak of a work in progress bow. Currently at 160lb at 28". Might tiller the last 2" but will probably leave it at 28" so it's as fresh as possible for it's first distance shoot. Should be around 170lb at 30".
English yew replica of slab-sided Mary Rose bow MR79A0807. Previous copies of the same bow of yew from the same tree were around 130lb, so I seem to have found a diamond amongst the disappointing stuff!
For those who I met at Chalke Valley, this is the bow I was working on.
