I was very pleased to present the three Mary Rose reproduction arrows to the museum this afternoon, and in particular to Dr. Alexzandra Hildred and Alastair Miles, who are also assisting me with some groundbreaking new scientific analysis research on the arrows that I will be releasing at some point in the next year or two hopefully.
The arrows were presented on a stand that I made from English cherry, with hand forged iron nails and hand forged steel supports designed to display the arrows at slightly different trajectories.
I also want to give a particularly big thankyou to Joshua Ralph for his help organising the arrow commissions, and to Dr. Georgia Jones for her continued support in my weird career choice and her brilliant scientific knowledge that when applied to elements of the Mary Rose arrows in the near future will further our understanding on how these arrows were originally made.
