Big News!

Way back at the beginning of March, I was honoured to have been contacted by the lovely folks at the Musée de Crécy-en-Ponthieu to make a heavy yew warbow and a set of authentic arrows for their new Crecy museum. We're nearly finished, but for now here's some sneak previews of what's going to be on display in the museum. ______

Big English yew warbow with dimensions from Mary Rose bow MR80A1142 ______

Raw hemp fibres harvested by myself in Devon to be made into a glued true Flemish hemp bowstring ______ Arrows made in a fully authentic manner, with no modern glues, materials or processes. Birch shafts, swan feathers, red silk, ox horn inserts, verdigris compound and hand forged Type 9 heavy war bodkins
